Research: The mass of a black hole is 4.4 times the mass of sun|Binary systems|black hole

NASA  and European Space Agency(ESA) for the first time measured the mass of a black hole moving in space with the one and only The Hubble Space Telescope (HST).

Until now the mass of a black hole determined on the basis of position of binary systems or galaxies.

Large black holes were belived to occur only with companion stars , but for the first time a single black hole has occured .

The discovered black hole is believed to be about 80 light years away from our galaxy. Earlier it was estimated that it is 5000 light years away. Stars increase its mass by interacting with another star or its comapnion star. When the mass increased it explodes called Supernova. Remants called as 'neutron star'. When remanant is bery large it is called "black hole". According to scientists the mass of a neutron star is between 1.6 to 4.4 times the mass of sun.

The discoveries till now has found the nearest star to be 4.2 light years away from Earth. Photo of black holes can be created or captured with a technique called 'Microlensing' in which light from a background source(Star) is bent by the gravitational field of a foreground lens to create distorted , brightened and multiple images. Telescopes are not used for capturing black holes because the do not emit light.

Binary star system is actually a two star system we can see these star systems in the clear night. Most of the twinkling stars are binary systems.

These are actually two stars that are gravitationally bounded to each other and orbits a common COM(centre of mass). On the basis of brightness they are classified into primary and secondary stars. Usually primary star is more shinier and bright than the secondary one. These stars are of many different types -
  1. Visual binaries
  2. Spectroscopic binaries
  3. Eclipsing binaries
  4. Astrometric binaries
  5. Exotic binaries

Black Hole is a small area equal to the diameter of any metrocity in which a great amout of matters densely packed. Their mass may be 10 times more than the mass of sun and gravitational field is extremely high that light can't eves escape. These are most peculiar and strange objects in our beautiful cosmos.

The formation of most of the black holes are due to the 'supernova explosions'. When a large star dies it emits a lot of energy with radiations(gamma rays , X-rays etc.) which can affect tge near planets and small stars. These can't be seen under normal telescopes their presence could only be experienced by thier high gravity surroundings.
Bigger black holes can formed after the collision in stars(Stellar collision).

Exoplanets holds a better survival than Earth

Exoplanets holds a better survival than Earth ■Exoplanets are those planets that have a rocky surface like Earth, Mars etc. and found outside our solar system.  We have heard a term SUPER - EARTH A Super earth is  an extra solar planet with a mass higher than our earth but lower mass than " ice giants" such as Uranus, Neptune. examples of super earth are COROT - 7b{ICARUS}, GJ1214b{SHESHA}, KEPLER - 440b. ■  Reasearchers had already discovered many planets similar to our mother EARTH but very recent studies has opened up new mysterious facts revealed "these SUPER - EARTHS full of Hydrogen and Helium.
