Laika : the space dog the only dog travelled to space

Laika was a street dog before the "SPACE DOG". Her life changed after the NASA scientists think of to launch any creature to space . They want to know actually what conditions and safety measures a man will require for the future space travel.

Laika also trained for her first and we can say last travel to space because after this she was no more with us.  laika was to launched to earth's orbit about 2000 miles above the MOSCOW city. It proved as a suicide mission for the dog and due to the damaged part of the rocket she has to face overheat , extremely cramped and finally after facing so much pain she gave her life to her country.

Between 1957 and 1987, Soviet allies, such as Romania (above), Albania, Poland and North Korea, issued Laika postage stamps

After so many reasearches and medical two dogs were picked up for the mission of sputnik2 . one of them  { placid Kudryavka (Little Curly } and the second dogAlbina (White) } was a backup .

Kudryavka was finally chosen for the death flight beacause the second dog  Albina was recently given birth to her young ones so she was not choosen although she has to look out for young ones and feed them. so finally laika which means { BARBER} in Russian was choosen for the fatal journey .

DOCTORS performed a test surgery on both the dogs and put medical equipment with their bodies to test their blood pressures , nerve impulses , heart impulses , and finally their physical movement .

although the doctors and physisians choosen laika for the experimental journey which was finally a death for her but one of them took laika with her shortly before the journey to his house and said " I WANTED TO DO SOMETHING NICE FOR THE DOG" .

three days before the fatal flight she was constricyed in her space suit that permits her a very little movement. cleaned and arms with censors and fitted with sanitation devices she wore a spacesuit with metal restraints built-in. On November 3 at 5:30 a.m., the ship lifted off with G-forces reaching five times normal gravity levels.

As the flight started the journey her heartbeat rocketed to triple breath rate quadpled due the noise of rocket engines . she reached to orbit alive and orbitted earth in about 103 minutes. due to loss of heat shied in the rocket temperature rised unexpectedly .

" she died soon after the launch  " a russian medical doctor revealed this in 1993.

after the fourth orbit the temperature registered in spacecraft was 90 degrees.“There’s really no expectation that she made it beyond an orbit or two after that.” Without its passenger, Sputnik 2 continued to orbit for five months.

Exoplanets holds a better survival than Earth

Exoplanets holds a better survival than Earth ■Exoplanets are those planets that have a rocky surface like Earth, Mars etc. and found outside our solar system.  We have heard a term SUPER - EARTH A Super earth is  an extra solar planet with a mass higher than our earth but lower mass than " ice giants" such as Uranus, Neptune. examples of super earth are COROT - 7b{ICARUS}, GJ1214b{SHESHA}, KEPLER - 440b. ■  Reasearchers had already discovered many planets similar to our mother EARTH but very recent studies has opened up new mysterious facts revealed "these SUPER - EARTHS full of Hydrogen and Helium. Hubble Space Telescope (HST)

Hubble Space Telescope (HST) ● Launched by - NASA on 24 April 1990. ● Budget   - According to Nasa , HST has cost approximately $16 billion from the beginning in 1977 and this doesn't includes the cost of space shuttle and servicing . ● Size  13.2m long and 4.2 m wide at its back and all instruments in this telescope attached here. ● Weight - 12,246 kg or 27,000 pounds we can assume its size and its weight nearly comparable to a mini bus or a mini truck. ● Used technologies  -    ■ Advanced camera for surveys(ACS)   ■ Cosmis origins spectrograph (COS)   ■ Corrective optics space telescope axial replacement(COSTAR)   ■ Faint object camera(FOC)   ■ Faint object spectrograph (FOS)   ■ Fine guidance sensor(FGS)   ■ Goddard high resolution spectrograph (GHRS/HRS)   ■ High speed photometer(HSP)   ■ Near infrared camera and multi- object spectrometer (NICMOS)   ■ Space telescope imaging spectrograph (STIS) ...
